Hydradermie² Treatments
The New Guinot in salon Hydradermie² facial is the most advanced beauty salon treatment for maintaining a balanced healthy complexion. It deep-cleanses, oxygenates and regenerates the skin. Regular Hydradermie treatments offer immediate and lasting results: they improve hydration in dry skin, reduce sebum levels in oily skin, and reduce average wrinkle depth in lined skin.
The facial uses the Hydraderm machine in our beauty salon(unique to Guinot), manual massage and bespoke plant-based extracts to restore the skin's natural beauty. After analysing the client's skin, the Guinot skincare expert customises the products used in the facial to treat normal/dry, sensitive, oily, mature or hyper pigmented skin. Once the skin is cleansed and gently exfoliated, the beauty therapist applies the carefully selected gels and uses mild galvanic current to help the active ingredients penetrate deep into the skin to remove impurities and toxins. High frequency action is then used to oxygenate and boost cells before a massage and a customised mask. A touch of moisturiser for the eye contour, face and neck concludes the beauty salon treatment.

History
L'Institut Guinot – Paris was founded by French biochemist Rene Guinot, who introduced a revolutionary professional skincare treatment – Cathiodermie – in the 1960s. It was the first facial to use mild galvanic and high frequency currents to deep cleanse, ionise and oxygenate the skin. For the past 30 years, under the ownership of Jean Daniel Mondin, a doctor of pharmacology, the company has been at the forefront of advances in the beauty industry. Guinot was one of the first professional skincare companies to include the 'cellular life complex' in its skincare products. This complex of 56 vitamins, proteins and amino acids was developed in a hospital burns unit to help repair skin. More recent innovations include the high performance anti-ageing Age Logic Cellulaire (the first professional skincare product to contain ATP) and the 'medicated cleansing' Microbiotic system to treat oily skin.
