L'oreal Colour Trophy 2014
It all Started late in 2013 when we start to study hair and fashion trends, we get a group of hairdressers together and try to predict what will happen in 2014 and what Loreal will be looking for? Always intending to try to get things together for November, as we know that it's always a rush in the new year, but as usual time passes into hairdressings busiest period, December. So in January 2014 we make final plans of what we are going to do and shoot the images very professionally, not, in our kitchen at home.
Emily, Kate's daughter was the model, A. because she cheap (a bottle of wine and a new pair of shoes did the trick) and B. because she is a brilliant model, always takes a great photo.
This is the image that helped us get into the finals:
Always a nervous time for hairdressers is waiting to hear if they have got through... L'oreal notified us in March that we've reached the regional finals. After the initial buzz of excitement dies down, then the hard work of finalising what the colour and style will be and choosing the clothes, accessories.
Luckily for us the regional finals have been held at the Cheltenham Race course, Centaur Suit for the past couple of years. This makes the preparation much easier and a lot cheaper.

On the night we finished 9th out of 35 Finalists, we were very pleased with the result.
